Central Michigan University College of Medicine (CMED) is seeking a highly qualified faculty member to join our Foundational Sciences Discipline. The successful candidate will have broad training in Pharmacology. The successful candidate will assume a role in the ongoing improvement of a highly integrated, cross-disciplinary, clinical presentation and inquiry-based medical school curriculum that includes Case-Based and Team-Based Learning, and Peer Instruction teaching modality. This role will also include facilitating small-group Problem-Based Learning case discussions and may include teaching elective courses in the candidate’s content area. Scholarship expectations are those related to the development of educational modules, medical education research as well as research in the candidate’s area of expertise. This position can be at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor rank on non-tenure track, depending on credentials.

The CMU College of Medicine graduated its eighth class of physicians in May 2024.
